Hello
I'm Kirsti and I've been teaching English... well since I was four and calling out a register to my teddies.

Officially I've been a qualified English and media studies teacher for over thirteen years, and have spent many a summer as an examiner for both English and media GCSEs and A levels.
My Story
I have been a bookworm my whole life. I adore my subject and am passionate about sharing it. I am happy as a clam in a classroom but even happier when I see the incredible impact 1:1 and small group teaching can have. Progress isn't always measured in grades (though that GCSE English qualification is crucial!). Students come away from my sessions happier, more confident, and empowered as real readers and real writers in the world.
